FULL combines all three modes. HARDNESS varies Core Length, SWEEP varies the pitch envelope, and SHAPE varies the amplitude envelope. Use Amount for subtle changes or stronger variations.

02 / PHASE LOCK · KICK & BASS

New attacks. A consistent tail.

With Phase Lock enabled, randomizing preserves the tail from the phase anchor onward. Watch the kick alongside a bassline, then adjust Tail Phase and host tempo to explore their relationship.

03 / KICK IMPORT

Start with your own kick.

Drag in a kick sample and analyse it in RAW or TAIL LOCK mode. Import with TAIL LOCK to automatically tune the resynthesized kick’s tail to your MIDI note and adapt its length to your MIDI note length. The demo shows RAW analysis applied to the synth’s pitch and amplitude envelopes. When a Click Layer is detected in the imported sample, it is automatically loaded into the Click Layer section. Export your finished kick as WAV when you are ready.

04 / MIDI CONTROL

Let MIDI guide the tail.

MIDI Tail tunes the tail’s end frequency to your MIDI note. MIDI Length lets the amplitude envelope follow the note length. Phase Lock, MIDI Tail and MIDI Length can each be switched off. Use the Tail Phase control to adjust the phase of your kick’s tail and align it with your bassline.

05 / ENVELOPE EDITING

Shape pitch and amplitude.

Expand the pitch and amplitude envelopes for a larger editing view. Zoom in, select multiple points and use fine adjustments to refine the shape of your kick. Use Simplify to remove nodes from your envelopes.
